Community Sunday - August 19

Gabriel Fields, Rafael Reyes, Jorge Requena, Bruce Bervan of Mariachi Ghost bring Mexican sunshine to the patio and right into the gallery with Mexican art on the walls.

Karen Taylor of Fine Art Porcelain offers her Pottery of the Ancients workshop Ð Part 1. As a ceramic artist of 15 years, Karen Taylor has taught many hundreds of people the art of ancient pottery construction. This workshop will focus on making coil-built forms and small sculpture while discussing the role of pottery in ancient society. (Next week: Join Karen and discover traditional old/low-tech firing practices to finish the pieces.) It is recommended that participants attend both workshops. Suggested donation of $10 for a workshop.

Basement Workshop Space

SNAC studios are home to artists working in many fields - art therapy, energy healing, counseling, painting, woodwork and more. Please ask us about our basement workshop space with (nearly ready!) wheel and kiln. snac@snac.mb.ca
