Solar Greenhouse Construction 2006
Clearing site, dug out for slab. Removed sod to be used on roof top later.
Laid 3/4" washed river rocks.
Installed rebar.
Concrete is poured.
Trowel & level concrete.
Began to erect stub walls.

Vapor barrier and ceiling sheets installed.
After insulating with 12" of blown cellouse the roof was sheeted, and decked with recycled 2x4, and 2x6 wood.
After covering the sheeted roof with pond liners we replaced all the sod removed from the site on the roof with countless wheel barrels of soil and compost.
The straw bales are going up.
Corsets are installed.
Depressions in the bale wall are stuffed with a mix of clay & straw.
Mixing earth plaster.
Earth plastering.
The walls are plastered with sand, straw, and clay. Landscape fabric is laid over the gravel to prevent dirt from entering the weeping tiles underneath the landscape cloth. It also makes clan up easier.
South wall is glazed with one layer of vinyl on the inside and one layer of hand congregated plastic on the outside.
Tiling the inside north wall where the aquaponic system will live.
More tiling.
