Joseph Naytowhow

Joseph Naytowhow has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and, for the past twenty years, has been an Aboriginal drummer and singer within Pan-Indian Pow-wows, Cree Sacred Ceremonies, Plains Indian Circles, and mainstream culture. For the past five years he has worked semi-professionally as a storyteller for various audiences throughout North America and some overseas countries in schools, festivals, heritage sites, outdoor camps and various religious organizations. His work has been recorded in a taping project and a CD production as well as having been broadcast in various interviews on CBC and Missinipi Broadcasting (MBC) since 1992. He has recently been involved in a music video project as an assistant in storyboarding, scriptwriting and working as a member of the production collective.
